We build opportunities for lifelong learning

Choosing a preschool is a huge milestone and a big decision for parents. Since a child’s brain is almost fully developed by the age of five, it is a vital time for the healthy development of social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language skills.

The early years are full of awe and wonder; a time when children are naturally curious about the world around them. Seeds of Learning understands the importance of building a positive and strong foundation that will likely shape a child’s entire life.

That’s why Seeds of Learning’s programming is distinctively different. For 25 years, we’ve inspired the minds of little learners and set the standard in early childhood education in Archuleta County. Here, we believe in creating joyful learning through purposeful play, building an environment that is responsive to each child’s unique needs and challenges, cultivating powerful family partnerships, and continually making improvements to our program using data driven insights.

But most of all we believe that all families deserve equal access to affordable, high quality early education.

What Makes Seeds So Special?

We’re About The Little People…

Our teachers are required to meet high quality teaching standards and degrees. Several of our teachers have been teaching with us for over 12 years and counting!

We tap into the child’s interests and abilities, allowing them to grow their enthusiasm for knowledge. We want children to become caring adults who are strong, self- aware, curious, creative, and compassionate.

Meeting families at their income level to help lift the financial burden and reduce the at-risk factors.

Only 10% of preschools in the nation earn this accreditation, which requires the highest standards for preschool education programs.
